The Illuminated Mystic Transport

This lovely art car was built by our campmates Bill Bonner and Nancy Panitch expressly for Burning Man. They brought it to the playa several years, but unfortunately Bill has died and Nancy is unable to come back to Burning Man. I have inherited the vehicle and pledged to bring it back to the Playa.

For this year, as suggested by DMV Hottie Martin B, we will drape a cover over the wheels to hide the internal golf car of the vehicle.

The trailer bed is metal, not wood, but there are some ramps on it. I may seek another trailer, in which case I need one that can carry about 1,000 lbs, is itself under 1,000 lbs (so I can do it all with class 1 hitch) and which is long enough to hold the cart balanced. The cart is 8' long, but has 5' long wood sticking front and back, so a typical arrangement is a 12' trailer with 3' sticking out the front and back if centered, or perhaps 4' out the front and 2' out the back if the tongue is long enough.
